The Kinsmen started off the new year by welcoming back our former bass singer, Kevin Morphis.
We sung our first singing at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist in Monticello on January 15th. We thank Brother Alvin McMahon and the fine folks there at Oak Grove for making us feel so welcome. Our next singing was at Salem Missionary Baptist church in Pine Bluff on January 29th. What an absolutely beautiful new church they have there on Sulphur Springs road. Brother Howard Loetscher and the wonderful folks there made us feel so welcome and we had church!
Our new recording “Pure Southern Gospel” is almost ready. Actually, we’ve had some “pre-release copies” available at our last singing or two. The project is I think, our best ever, and it is filled with songs you’ll know and love. As soon as it comes in from being duplicated, I’ll make the announcement both here, and on facebook.
We’re taking bookings for 2012 and would love to come to your church to sing, so give me a call. My number is on the web site.
